Instacash repayments are designed to be **automatic and hassle-free** ✅, ensuring your balance is paid on time without you lifting a finger. When you request Instacash, you agree to our **Automatic Debit Authorization** agreement, which allows MoneyLion to **debit your chosen payment method on the scheduled repayment date**.

### **Your Primary Repayment Account Options**

Your repayment account can be:

* **Your primary debit card** linked for Instacash repayment 💳

* **Your MoneyLion Spend** **account 💰**

* **Your linked external bank account** used to qualify for Instacash🏦

We recommend adding **backup payment accounts** to your MoneyLion Wallet to keep repayments seamless. Making sure you have enough funds in your accounts will make the process hassle-free!

### **Repaying Instacash Early 🏃**

Want to **get ahead of your payments**? You can repay Instacash early in the MoneyLion app:

1. Open the **MoneyLion app** and tap **Instacash** in the **Accounts** tab.

2. Click the **Repay** button.

3. Choose your repayment account (**external debit card or MoneyLion Spend account**).

4. Input your repayment amount (**full or partial payment**).

5. Review your repayment summary and tap **Pay** to process the transaction.

⏳ **Timing Tip:** If you’re making an early payment, initiate it **at least two business days before** your scheduled repayment date to ensure it processes on time. If your manual repayment fails, check your funds and try again—note that for security reasons, only **three (3) manual repayment attempts** are allowed within 24 hours.

###
**Understanding Pending Payments ⏳**

If your payment is still **pending** after a day, it’s likely due to the **payment method used**:

* **Bank account payments** can take up to **five (5) business days** to clear.

* **Debit card payments** generally post **on the same day**.
